A neighbourhood guide to KidzPaint's Abuja venues, and what makes each one worth the drive.
Abuja spreads out more than Lagos does, so picking a venue often comes down to which side of the city you are already on. Maitama, Gwarinpa and Wuse 2 each host a KidzPaint venue, and each has its own personality.
Pasha and Cilantro Abuja, both in Maitama, sit in one of the city's greener, quieter districts. Cilantro in particular leans into its outdoor garden, with lush planting and warm lighting that makes even a Tuesday afternoon session feel like an occasion. Freshly squeezed juice comes with every package here, a small detail that tends to matter more than expected on a hot day.
Pocho, in Gwarinpa, is the more rustic of the three, all bamboo ceilings and relaxed cafe energy. It is also home to Abuja's free Silent Book Club Jr., every Sunday at 2PM, so families in that part of the city have a built-in reason to visit even on a week they are not booking a session.
Green Velvet Restaurant in Wuse 2 rounds out the group with an elegant, more formal setting, well suited to birthday parties where some of the grown-ups want a proper sit-down meal alongside the children's activity.
None of the three requires crossing the city to reach a main location, since KidzPaint in Abuja was built around not asking families to travel far for a two-hour session. Pick whichever neighbourhood is already part of your week.
