Clay, both hands, and a shape that only exists because your child made it. Our pottery sessions are hand-built rather than wheel-thrown, which means every child finishes a piece instead of fighting a machine. Running across Lagos Island, the Mainland and at homes anywhere in the city.
Children pinch, coil, roll and press. It is the oldest way of making pottery and by far the best fit for young hands, because progress is visible from the first minute and nothing collapses because the spin was uneven. The artist demonstrates each stage, then works around the table while children build.
Pottery asks a child to wait. Clay sets at its own pace, a layer has to dry before the next one goes on, and no amount of hurrying changes that. Sitting inside that wait without giving up is a genuinely useful thing to learn, and it happens to look like play.
Pottery sits alongside hand casting, candle making, paper mache and canvas painting, so a birthday or a family afternoon can run two formats side by side rather than one. Tell us in the booking notes and we set the tables up accordingly.

Pottery is ₦45,000 per child, or the venue rate where the venue price is higher. That covers the clay, the tools, the apron, the teaching artist and the extras that come with every session.
Sessions are hand building: pinch pots, coil work, slab work and sculpting. It suits children's hands, it is far less frustrating than the wheel, and everyone finishes something.
Ages 2 to 15. Younger children work on simple pinch and press shapes with a parent or caregiver nearby, and older children take on sculpting and detail work.
The piece is made on the day. Air-dry clay work goes home with the child, and anything that needs a longer drying or setting time is collected afterwards. The artist tells you which applies before the session starts.
Yes. Pottery is one of the most requested party formats, and it can be combined with canvas painting, candle making or hand casting for a mixed session.
Yes. Clay, boards, tools and aprons all travel. We run pottery at homes and private venues anywhere in Lagos.
